Team Donate Life - Race 4 Life you guys, wow, what an encouragement you all are to see your determination to strive for the cause you love. I was reading the other day and John Quincy Adams once wrote this:

“Courage and perseverance have a magical talisman, before which difficulties disappear and obstacles vanish into air.”

You men and women are bringing that statement to life. Just following you on the internet and watching you go though town after town holding your pace steady is where I believe dreams become realized and every obstacle begins to vanish and the miles take on new meaning as you lay ahold of perseverance. What a testament to the human spirit and the vision God has placed in you. I not only am following you but all the riders of TDL and sometimes sitting here at my computer yelling go, go, you go…. Knowing that each rider has made a sacrifice to be on the road riding for others, who for themselves cannot ride. Michael Hanson once wrote;

“To will is to select a goal, determine a course of action that will bring one to that goal, and then hold to that action till the goal is reached. The key is action.

This what everyone of us sitting at a computer watching is seeing, you have selected your goal and determined your course of action and by your riding have put all of those thing into action that will touch a life and change someone else’s future. I love the pictures being posted because you can see on your faces joy.

“Smiles are contagious as your riding and feel pain,
Every mile you tread though will never be in vain
Your love and your commitment is shown as you ride,
Just know you’re not alone for God is by your side,
Someday a life that’s been changed will be able to say thank you very much,
I now have an organ because of what you’ve done, My lifes no longer over it has just begun,
There are many others that are just like me,
Who without TDL another sunset they will not see…”

I pray that your message will be seen and heard by many others near and far who will step up and partner with you. Stepping out of complacency and moving into action. I believe that all of riding will be amazed at what is coming out of this ride. For you can truly say without hesitation like Paul, “I have fought a good fight, I have finished my race, and finished my course.” You men and women are really amazing and most definitely fun to watch and experience. Always praying for you all daily that God’s Strength, Rest and Safety will surround you all. Keep on riding and “Ride with pride.”
